These signals allow the software to check the sound’s behavior across the entire audio spectrum. Test signals are sent out from the Dirac Live Calibration Tool™ through your audio system and loudspeakers. In the early days of audio, you could use a test disc and a sound pressure level (SPL) meter to graph the frequency response of your audio system, then manually.
